Bula Vinaka

Bula (pronounced boola) vinaka (pronounced vin-aka, like the old breath spray "binaca")

~ A Fijian greeting which translates into hello, welcome, good life and health to you! ~

My name is Steven 'bono' Bonarrigo ('bono' is a family nickname). The nickname has been used since high school many years ago in the mid 1970's before the introduction of the famous Bono of U2 to the US. I incorporate my nickname with a lowercase 'b' to differentiate from him.

I currently live in the Boston area which has burgeoned into quite the "hub" of production. I have been a soundman since graduating college in the mid 1980's. My experience is in field and studio productions of all shapes and sizes.

Life has brought me through some twists and turns which took me away from production on a full time basis (but I secretly kept recording part time:). It has been a wonderful trip thus far and I always say "if God takes me now, I have lived an amazing life full of adventures". I have room in my passport and carnet for more so explore my site!
